Job Hunting...
Well, it's official. I was laid off today at 4:45, right as I was getting ready to leave for the day! I know the real estate business isn't at it's best, but they could have worked with me... I knew something was up early this morning, I even asked the guy I process for if I was the one getting laid off, he assured me that I wasn't, which was why I was so mad when I was told! How can someone sit there and tell you no, when he clearly knew? Those people I thought were friends didn't even say goodbye! You work with these people day in and day out, you start to consider them pretty much family because you are all together so much and they can't even give you as much as a goodbye! I was furious! As soon as they told me I didn't need to hear anymore, I walked to my desk, started boxing ALL my junk and left. I couldn't believe the people I trusted and thought were such a good friend could hurt me so bad! Anyway... I am still a little bitter, obviously, but honestly it was a blessing! I am just job hunting and thought I should give everyone a heads up! If anyone knows of any good jobs, let me know!

Jen, that's crazy! Those real estate people...never can trust 'em! I'm so confused because you'd think things would be getting busier now that it's spring and rates are lower?!? Are you looking to work at another title company? I'll let you know if I hear of anything. Hope it all works out!!! :[

Hi Jenny, You don't know me, but I am a friend of Amy's. She told me you just got let go. I know what you mean, I HATE it when they look you in the eye and lie right to your face! Title companies are cyclical, I have worked for them since 1983. Good luck finding something else.
Get a job at a bank, the hrs are GREAT and its so much fun! i loved working at wellsfargo and zions!

Jenny, hey it's me Laurie! i can't believe you got laid off. i'm so sorry. you have been with them for so long. I used to work for Salt Lake Credit Union and i believe they are hiring. so you should look into that if you like. the pay probably isn't what you want though. how's everything besides the job hunt? we should get together, go on a double date or something! i miss ya!
