Last Weekend...

So after a crazy Friday... I had a crazy weekend. I guess that Fridays set the mood for the whole weekend. Here are a few photos from this weekend...

I cleaned out my coat closet and discovered Colt's favorite new toy... It's his baby! We just wrap this monkey around his neck and he went crazy for it. He was modeling for the camera even... My brother Nate who just arrived home from his mission...
My accident, it doesn't appear to be too bad, lets just hope it's not! (PS She DID have insurance)
My surprise! Austin decided to surprise me with a NEW washer and dryer... I ruined the surprise by peeking in the closet to see why the laundry basket was out, but I still loved it and couldn't sleep because I was so excited to do laundry!

Just my luck

This morning I was running a little late for work... as I was gathering my things I kept trying to pump myself up for the day because I had to work and Austin doesn't, so it's hard to want to be at work when he gets to hang out at home and not only do I have to work today, I have to work tonight also. Anyway, as I am leaving I get in my car get all my stuff situated and head out, pull out of the complex and drive down the street as usual. A truck is pulling out of the apartment complex almost directly across the street from mine, she keeps coming so I swerve out of her way and BOM!, she still hits me! UHG! I slam on my brakes and jump out of the car with hands in the air yelling, 'can you not see!', and what do I get? A studdering, 'n..nn..o englis-a'. Come on! I was pissed! We were both in the middle of the road, so we both get back in our cars and move them to the side. I get out and asked her if she has insurance, she replied shaking her head yes. I call the police. I call Austin. Then I called my office. We aren't standing there very long at all and a police officer came on his motorcycle. One of the nicest I have ever delt with (I haven't had to deal with many) I told him what happened and then told him she didn't speak english. He went over to her and had a very strong gringo accent but knew the few key words... ANYWAY, so my car isn't driveable because she hit the back wheel and I have a nice dent in my car! I am super stressed about it and we don't know if she has insurance or not! This isn't fun!

Memory Lane

Here are the directions:
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together (it can be a memory with either me or Austin...or whomever, or both). It doesn't matter if you knew me/us a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you.

I can't wait to read all your memories and then post some memories about you!

6 DAYS...and counting!

Anyone who doesn't already know this... knows now! NATE (Elder) HILDEBRAND will be home in 6 DAYS!!! My bigger-younger brother has been serving a mission in Hamburg, Germany for the past 2 years. My Mom and Alex got the oppertunity of a lifetime and they are in Germany with him right now! I am jealous, but very happy for them! I get to stay and house sit... water the lawn, get the mail, feed the dogs, BORING! While they get to travel and see things they have always dreamed about! Anyway... I just had to say how excited I am! I can't wait!

These are a few of my favorite things...

Buff guy...

Have I mentioned how I just love to go "wheelin'"?
I do! We went twice this weekend, once on quads and again in our friends Jeeps! Both were just too much fun! I woosied out climbing rocks on the quads, but in the Jeeps we went up a trail that took us to the back side of snow bird! It was a blast and I can't wait to do it again!Back side of SnowBird!
