It's been a while!

Life has been extremely crazy lately, yet I don't really have anything cool to report about...

I guess I can start off by saying the Elk Hunt was extremely cold, a success, but colder then cold! I believe with all of those who drew out and got a tag, 7 out of 9 of those tags were filed. Austin and I were only able to get up there on the weekends, so neither of us filled the tags.

In the mean time, my house seems to have one problem after another. But this one beats them all, so far... my toilet upstairs had worn through its wax ring and had been leaking sewage through the floor and through the ceiling down stairs, the once decent linoleum had a huge bubble that sat about a foot off the ground because it couldn't stick the the wet sub floor and the ceiling in the living room was growing mold, this all happened in a matter of a few days, that we saw anyway. Luckily my Dad came into town at the perfect time! He rarely comes into town, so I put him to work repairing all the damage and he laid real tile in the bathroom! It looks great! As for the ceiling, Austin and his Pop have re-placed the moldy, crumbly drywall! What would I do without these fabulous men around me?

Next, my cousin Spencer got married to a wonderful girl named Sara! She seems like she will fit in great! ...And whenever the time comes she will be decorating my wedding, she doesn't know that yet, but she will! Their reception was in an LDS gym... all who know, know it is hard to make those gyms look decent! Theirs was so nice! The ambiance was just how I'd want ours to be! Although, we would like ours outside...

... I think that is it folks! I haven't had anything real cool happen. Just life.

MY TEN AND FIVE

Ten Years Ago..... 15, I was a Freshman at Highland High. Freshman year was actually my favorite year of high school. I loved hanging out with friends and chasing boys. All the friends would eat lunch in the hallway outside of the auditorium by the seal. Linzi, Megan and I would walk home from school and when we got home we'd watch Maury and make buttered tortillas. Haha!

Five Years Ago..... 19, I was just getting ready to move back in with mom. I had been living in an apartment with Randi and liked the guy across the hall. When I moved back home I thought my life was ruined. Which it kind of was, for a little while. Moving back home with mom isn't considered cool all the time. I regained my coolness though. LOL.

Five Months Ago..... 24, that was just May. May was a busy month! We had Memorial Day cleaning up Austin's grandmas farm, Heather's wedding in Idaho and we did the MS Walk! Oh... and I was working ALL the time!

My List of Five Things To Do Tomorrow.....
1. Work

2. Laundry

3. Cleaning

4. Cleaning

5. Did I mention cleaning?

Five Bad Habits.....
1. Biting my nails

2. Doubting myself

3. Over think everything

4. Getting upset over small things

5. I wouldn't call it a bad habit, but I have to sleep with something between my legs, more annoying then anything.

Five Places I Have Lived....

1. Filmore Street

2. Stratford Ave

3. Kenwood Street

4. 2100 South

5. Allen Cove, ALL in SLC.

Five Things That People Don't Know About Me....

1. I am super OCD, but only about dumb little things.

2. I drool when I am extremely tired, yes, even while I am awake.

3. I want 4 kids when I grow up, I think (2girls, 2boys)

4. I refer to what I don't have yet as something I want when I grow up.

5. I have always wished that I was extremely wealthy.
I'll tag....

My crazy dreams

So... I rarely have dream I can actually remember, but I had a such a weird dream last night I can't stop thinking about it! I have this great Dreamer's Dictionary book that I keep at my desk for times like this. I think the weird dreams almost always have some meaning to them not matter how bizarre they are! I am going to warn you... this was a nightmare more then anything, but the meaning behind it is pretty dead on with what is happening in my life.

THE DREAM: I am standing in a dark room all of a sudden there was a light over 3 little boys that weren't alive sitting Indian style in a row leaning against each others backs ( you understand why I can't stop thinking about it now!), next an elderly man walks past me with a cane then I am holding roses (Can't remember the color, which has meaning to it) then I keep seeing the numbers 3 and 7, then my dream is over. WEIRD-O!

OK, so I am really not some psycho killer, I promise, this dream has been super disturbing to me! When I got into work this morning I had to look up everything to see if I needed to go see a shrink or if I have been watching too many CSI episodes.

THE MEANING: Children in a woman's dream is always a good sign, but dead ones? Still good! Children are a symbol for cleansing and so is death. They both mean re-newel, cleansing, re-birth, children are more specific to your career/job. The Elderly man represents wisdom or spiritual power, it said to pay attention to the message or advice they are conveying to you to help provide life's answers and solutions, they are trying to guide you in the right direction. The roses signify faithfulness in love and the arrival of a much joyous occasion. Now seeing that there were 3 children and the number 3, Three signifies life, vitality, inner strength, completion, imagination, creativity, energy, and self-exploration. Three stands for trilogy as in the past, present, and future or father, mother, and child, etc. Seven signifies mental perfection, healing, completion, music and attainment of high spirituality. Additionally, you are unique and eccentric.

MY INTERPRETATION: Well, those who know, know that I have been in the real estate industry since I graduated high school, it is all I know, all I feel comfortable doing, but with the market these days I have been feeling like I need to completely change careers. I think this dreams meaning confirmed that I need to start looking into new options and figuring out what I want to be when I grow up. As hard as it is to feel like I am starting all over again, I think it will be better for me in the future. I need to expand my knowledge and try something new that is stable.

So... I guess if anyone knows of any job openings, I am listening!
